Miller has been reading about some interesting Toucan facts.

Miller read a book called, "Cool Facts Jungle Animals" by Anita Ganeri.  He found out that:
  • Toucans are famous for their striking beaks which can grow longer than their bodies.  They use their beaks for reaching over and plucking fruit from branches.  The bright colours may help the Toucans to recognise each other and to scare off other birds.
  • Toucans live in the Amazon rainforest.  Do you know where the Amazon rainforest is?

  1. Hi Miller - those are really interesting facts about toucans. I wondered why they were so colourful - aren't they beautiful? The Amazon Rainforest is located in a country called Brazil. Keep up the great learning my friend. Mum
