WALA: The Holy Spirit-Te Wairua Tapu living in people.

In groups we located scriptures:
Galatians 4:6
John 14:17
Romans 8:9
1 Corinthians 6:19

We discussed the scriptures and recorded:

·        What is it telling people about the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit lives within us; our bodies are temples for the Holy Spirit.
You do not need to see the Holy Spirit because it is with you always.
The Holy Spirit reveals the truth about God.
The Holy Spirit is always with us.
You live as the spirit tells you to live.
God sent The Holy Spirit into our hearts.

·        What people need to remember about themselves?

The Holy Spirit is in us and we can do good things.
Who ever does not have the Spirit of Christ in them does not belong to Him/them.
We need to remember that we are God’s children.
The Holy Spirit helps us to obey God and to make right choices.
The Spirit is our guide and helper.
The Holy Spirit is with us always so we don’t have to worry about feeling alone.

·        How other people should be treated and why?

All people should be treated equally because we are all children of God.
We should treat each other with respect because The Holy Spirit is in us.
We should treat others the way that we want to be treated because The Holy Spirit treats us all with respect and we need to return the favour.
